Our story

Why I started Honor Supply.

I got tired of waiting until bad things happen to good people before we honor them. So I stopped waiting.

That’s the whole reason. Honor Supply Co started there.

The pattern I couldn’t unsee

I was a firefighter. Not for long. Long enough to notice something.

We honor firefighters at the worst possible time. At the funeral. After the line-of-duty death. After the storm takes everything.

The photos come out then. The kind words come out then. The person can’t see any of it.

That never sat right with me.

Honor them now

So the idea is plain. Honor people while they can see it.

Honor Supply Co photographs firefighters at conferences, trainings and departments. Then we give 100% of it away. To the firefighters. To their families.

No department money. No training company money. Ever.

Brands can stand behind it, but only if it’s about honoring firefighters. Not selling product.

We call it #HonorBeforeDeath. Don’t wait.

Why a camera

I learned a long time ago, with my grandmother’s camera and a bunch of friends on skateboards, that a camera makes people feel seen.

Firefighters almost never get seen doing the work. The training. The long days. The stuff nobody films.

A real photo of them doing it is something they can hand to their kids. That matters more than anything I could say.

Where it led

Honor Supply Co built trust I never could have bought.

When Hurricane Helene hit, Asheville Fire’s public information officer asked me to come document their search and recovery. Not because I showed up with a camera that week. Because I had already documented their training before the storm.

It stays free

Honor Supply Co is free. It stays free. That’s how I keep it honest.
